Brand Marketing / Creative Direction / Campaign
As the creative director for brand, I was tasked to shape and tell the story of who CompanyCam is and who the users become when using it. The goal of this campaign was to establish the brand and anchor it in who our users actually are and show them what they can become. The driving force behind the idea was that contractors deserve a better name for the work that they do, it’s not a fall back, its a craft and it deserves respect. If you can show the work you can build trust.
This was accomplished by telling 4 stories (one of which is still in development) with some of the biggest names in the space. Focusing in on knowledge and skill, heritage, and craft and connecting that to the way that CompanyCam is able to help tell the contractors story and show their value. I led these projects from start to finish and worked with an outside production agency to create 4 powerful cornerstone pieces of content to begin to anchor the brand in the trades reality. Part of the mission was to tell the CompanyCam story and advocate for the good work that trades men and woman do every day and show how a tool like CompanyCam can help break down those walls by showing the world what goes into the work.
This project is in progress.
Jarod Coffman X CompanyCam
Jarod Coffman is an up and coming custom home builder with a lot of passion and a high level of skill. With his story I wanted to focus in on his unique skillset and how he is changing the way that other framers are building. He has come up with ingenious ways to build custom homes at production speeds (put simply, he builds really freaking fast) without compromising on quality. CompanyCam has become the tool to help him show the customers he works with that he’s doing things right and earns their trust.
Jessie Demler X CompanyCam
Jessie Demler is a 4th generation mason, a unique story but a familiar one in the trades. With his story I wanted to focus in on heritage. Telling about the way he builds and the lens he has, showing how CompanyCam can begin to show people that there’s more to being a mason than just laying brick. His family built the business he works in now, but most people he works with and for can’t see the full picture unless you show them.
Karly Gibbens X CompanyCam
Karly brings a special take into the trades space. She grew up with an artist mother and an electrician father. I wanted to help people see how she is bringing a high level of craft into the industry and how she’s taken a job that most people would never see as creative and made it one. Again, the common thread in all these videos, is how CompanyCam is able to help every trades person tell the story they want to tell.
